This archive serves as the visual record of the collection of flight tests, operational demonstrations, and cinematic presentations of the project in its natural environment.

These videos are designed to provide pilots with a clear look at the aircraft’s handling qualities, system logic, and mission-specific performance from high-alpha maneuvering and carrier-deck operations to tutorials and demo-flights.

Landing demonstration with Aural AOA warning system in VR
(X-Plane 12)

A short video showing a typical land-base landing (the aircraft is capable of landing on aircraft carriers as well), with the assistance of the Aural AOA Warning System.

The system is based on the F-4 Phantom II aural AOA system, with similar working principles. The main purpose of the aural AOA system is to allow the pilot to keep is head out of the cockpit while managing angle of attack during takeoff and landing, combat and so forth, by recognizing specific tones for the various angle of attack regimes

The video starts with a high-g, low power break (for reducing airspeed) and landing gears retraction (at 00:00:20). Then, a long and stable final approach.

Forward visibility and line of sight with the runway - It looks very challenging, and in 2-d mode it may indeed be challenging because of the limited forward field of view (caged canopy, similar to the SR-71, F-102, F-106 etc...). However, in VR it is straightforward and much easier than it looks thanks to the free head movement and peripheral vision. Landings on aircraft carriers are straightforward as well.

Flight in this demonstration was done 100% VR - no hardware Joystick and throttles were involved in this flight. Control and entire aircraft operation was made by using only the touch controllers. The aircraft is designed for 100% complete VR experience in X-Plane 12.

John Andrews reveals the F-19 Stealth Fighter.

A rare audio recording telling the story of the legendary F-19 Stealth Fighter design process and how 'Testors' leading designer came up with the design back in the late 80's!

(this is a re-edited and updated version of out original video, featuring new visuals and improved audio).

The video includes a rare audio recording of an intriguing interview. Mr. Don Ecker conducted this interview in his radio program 'UFOs Tonite!', back in 1994, with Mr. John Andrews, the man who designed the F-19 Stealth Fighter model during the year 1985.

A HUGE 'Thank You!' goes to Mr. Don Ecker, for allowing VSKYLABS to use the audio recording of the interview in this video, which was edited as a humble appreciation to all who were involved in the making of the 80's F-19 Stealth Fighter concept model, and above all, to Mr. John Andrews, the man behind the legendary F-19 Stealth Fighter model design.

The F-19 Stealth Fighter model carried a whole generation of aviation and flight simulation enthusiasts into the fascinating world of military aviation and stealth technology back in the late 80's / early 90's.
